Yeah I knew about it way before you did, and guess what, it won't be out for a little bit.  All it is, is an overclocked version of a 9700 Pro anyway... look at the specifications of a 9700 Pro and a 9800 - 9800 Pro, only a few "little" upgrades that don't make nearly any difference today.

I got an S3 ViRgE card in a comp I built for a neighbor.  It pwns all j00z Geforce4's and Radeons.  Yeah baby! .5 fps in quake 3!

Its a 4 mb card, and I was able to get QuakeIII running on it.  It was laughable.  But its humiliating how my laptop got 5 3D Marks in 3D Mark 2003.  It was biased bullshit, as Jason_Xero says.  

Unreal Tournament ran pretty good though in software mode/windowed mode.
