Why?
« on: March 15, 2003 12:23 am CST »
1)Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?
2)Why don't you ever see the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery"?
3)If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
4)Why are they called buildings, when they're already finished? Shouldn't they be called builts?
5)Why are they called apartments, when they're all stuck together?
6)Why do we wash bath towels? Aren't we clean when we use them?
7)Why do noses run and feet smell?
8)

1)Glue uses the molecules in the air, which combine and harden.
2)Psychics never use their gift for a bad purpose because it comes back 3-fold
3)Tourism 'season' is when most people go on vacation and 'spend spend spend'!  People have grown accustomed to this turn of events that happens once a year.
4)The 'buildings' are never complete, they are alawys growing and prospering with people as it's foundation.
5)A room or suite of rooms designed as a residence and generally located in a building occupied by more than one household.
6)Towels collect micro-oranisms that eventually will build up and ruin the towel.
7)The nasal cavities release mucus in natural defense when allergens collect and build up inside the nose causing irritation.  Feet smell because of the build-up of bactiera and unsanitary conditions.
8)Theoretically, yes.  'Skinny-dipping' involves the removal of every clothing item off one's body while swimming in a pool of water.
9)A driver's license is used to prove that you're over the age of 21 and to prove that you are who you say you are.  And it's illegal to be caught without one!
10)Rain 'drops' derives from water 'dripping' from a faucet while snow 'falls' because of the gravitational pull of Earth.

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).
