Hey I have Quad Xeon 3.04 GHz Hyper-Threading Pentiums (liquid nitrogen cooled, o/c to 10GHz a piece on 30Vcore) with 5 GB of 1200Rambus Ram on a 1066MHz QPB (quad pumped bus) with a GeForce FX 5800 Ultra o/c with liquid nitrogen o/c to 2ghz core and 4 ghz memory.

Oh, and BlueTooth 2.0 /w 10GB/sec wireless port.  And a DS-3 to boot...

Never had any problems with mine either...

Hahaha...

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

Hah, 3,527,623 3D Marks lol.

You know, if you run that old HL SpeedHack while running 3D Mark(2000?) I think you get a higher score.

I'd give my specs away, but you'd think I was lying...

a huge tremendously harddrive of 13.6 gigs... *cough* i'll stop there, my comp sucks... but I like it better than anything the school can produce for a mac

Do not ASSUME, it makes an '@ss' out of 'u' and 'me'

Something I dont understand.  Why did the public schools in my area choose to buy those crappy iMacs for their students?  There is a real reason why Memphis has one of the lowest educational marks in the country.

Macs, simple to use for simple people.  I think that should be their next slogan.

AOL, so easy to use no wonder so many retards use it.

*edit*
I dont find macs simple in the least bit.  I have a terrible time trying to multitask with the new OSX (though it is much better than the older OS's.)

You will note that all those commericals for the "iMac"s have people that don't even know what a CPU is.  They even say things like, "I didn't even know how to turn a computer on".  "My old PC just confused me."  etc...

Something I dont understand.  Around 10 years ago, my dad would actually buy upgrades for computers at the business he ran (memory of course).  But something boggles me about this.  He knows jack shizzit about computers.  I mean, that experience didnt even lead him to at least learn a little bit about technology.

Schools get really cheap deals for macs.  It's win-win for Apple and the schools.  Schools get cheaper computers and Apple gets almost the entire generation of students to want their products.  Of course, when they hit the real world with their personal mac and find there are only PC's, it's a bit confusing.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Nah, at my old public schools, we hated the mac's.  In fact, a friend of mine made it to where anytime any macintosh on that network was turned on, a popup would show up saying: Apple is overrated.
