A Visit of a Lifetime.

Well, I always make rounds to the forums probably once a year, but now seeing that the forums have disappeared, I've decided to make a post here, it being the most populated. One problem... I can't discern a famliar name except for Particle's so I guess even doing so its pointless to an extent. Wish I could contact the old crew again.

Hey Particle, you remember me right? Its great that you're keeping this wonderful mod alive and updated too. Heh, I especially loved how you preserved a huge portion of the old forums. Few questions though, what happened to the other "classic" servers and JI, what's he up to these days? Vectrex, Aleman, SirSteven, etc. Have they gone too? It seems a lot happens in the years that I've gone. Depressing... almost. I heard SirSteven runs Old World RPG, not quite sure though.

Just a drop in. Sadly though I'll probably disappear into oblivion again after a few posts... work, school, all too much. I'll see if I can drop by your server once to see what you've done if I have the time.

Hey Commie!  Of course I remember you!  Actually, I still use CommieChat. (modified a little for the newer stuff)

I don't even know where the official TRPG forums are because they all kept dying and moving and stuff so I gave up.  Steef is in IRC all the time (irc.dynamix.com:6667 - #isdev and #tribesrpg) if you ever want to talk to him.  A lot of the older members are there as well.  Except for Binker and Newbie's, there aren't any of those older servers left really.  You'll like what I've done to TRPG :)

If you do decide to leave again, please leave me a way to contact you.  I hate to say goodbye so often.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I remember you, though I was just a wee little newbie when you were around all the time. And I also still use your script. The new forums are currently at http://www.ironsphere.org
There are very few of the original people there now. Mostly newbies of varying degrees of intelligence (or lack thereof)
Stop by, those of the oldbies who are still around would enjoy hearing from you.

Not sure if you remember but we played on Psy2000 together. Dray, Duo, SirSteven, Link, BattleWarLore...IcePhoenix :roll: heh good memorys

Most people are still around, we went through 2 forums and have a new one run by cheese and sirsteven. Everyone is still in #tribesrpg aswell.

I can remember you on the old forums... I was known as "Alcoholic 007" back then... still am to many people... but this is the name I use on the new forums both places.  If my posts are off the wall or angry... I've not been myself lately.  Peace!
