Greatest CS moments
« on: March 28, 2003 02:04 am CST »
Feel free to post your greatest CS moments, where you owned the hell out of someone, when someone owned the hell out of you, or when you watched someone own the hell out of someone else..

Or anything else that you think was awesome, or funny.

I have a few, but I am going to tell this one first

I was a CT on Aztec.. I had an awp.. I went to the bridge after match started, and ran around the corner wall next to the bridge..

I heard a bunch of footsteps so I decided to run around and fire..

I jumped, landed, fired, and one bullet went through 4 t's... THey were all HS

Are you sure "fun" mode wasn't on the server?

Ok... It all starts w/ me (CobrA) and my friend Vigilante.

Vigilante had been an AWM master and was tired of the constant ridicule, so he took a break from it and started using the MP-5 and P-90 as a substitute.

Well, he and I were in a game one time, on the phone w/ each other, playing Militia as CT. After a few rounds, I purchased an AWM. During the beginning of this round he had gone AFK, and I had stayed on the phone to fight out the battle. After 1 or 2 kills (probably 1) I died out in the open area outside of CT spawn. As I watched my teammates slowly being picked off by a T rooftop sniper, Vigilante came back on the phone. I immediately switched my spectator mode to his character and told him to not buy a gun, just get some armor really quick and run down the tunnel in front of the CT spawn. After doing so, he rested behind the rock in the middle of the clearing. I then instructed him to quickly look to his right and observe the AWM lying there. It was mine. And a T AWMer was camped on the rooftop. He crept toward the gun... and a shot was heard, I saw dirt fly from the ground next to the AWM. I told Vigilante he could do it. He could pick it up and fire fast enough, because it had only been about a week since his fast from AWMing. He crept closer, as I watched to the side, and I told him. "GO".
He leaped out, grabbed the AWM, no scope, he cold aimed the AWM and fired, hitting the T, not killing him.
As he zoomed in, he could see the T drop down into the room below the roof. The T re-gained he and peered thru the glass, Vigilante fired, HS.
"Counter-Terrorists Win" was exclaimed; I congratulated my friend on falling back into the AWM business. He is yet to put it down today.

I had just joined the server. The map was half way through Italy, and I only had body armor. I followed my team to the house, where they were all mowed down by the other team. I picked up the sg552, and just opened fire. Out of 8 people, I killed 7 of them with headshots. The last one was camping the tunnel, so when I went to check, I saw him. I zoomed in, and nailed his head also. After that round, the whole other team was calling me a cheater. I laughed, and coninued to play on the server. I haven't left since.

I just happen to have one on "tape".  This was on Ctrl-Alt-l33t a while back when I was cursing Windows XP trying to get used to the new mouse movement.  (Blasted XP!)  I ended up killing half the other team and pulling an ultra kill on cs_office... Don't trust the ez-stats, count 'em--there's five kills there.

(Not my best moment, but a good one that I actually have recorded.)

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Iceworld's not a real map to brag about.  You can easily find 5 people all in a line and kill them with a single clip or run around with a Mac10 not even aiming at people scoring a million headshots.  Good scores on that map don't mean anything.

And I didn't call it a leet moment, that's the name of the server.

Hmm... Fave moments.  Ok.  I was playing an awesome game of CS.  My score was like 50-0.  I was like  WHO DA BOSS and shiz like that, and they just kept replying with the same lame responses such as:  Im gonna get you Iceman! or Try that again on my Iceman! and you're dead!  And I was laughing and calling them n00bs and stuff like that.  2 hours later I got tired and checked the score, and found out they were all bots...  Doh...

Hmm, I wasn't trying to mock you Particle.

And I know Iceworld isn't much to brag about, but it's still a lot of fun getting continous frags.

Iceworld is an awful map.  Same to AWP map.  There is no creativity put into that map.

But it's SO much fun.. *sigh* you guys are all about "Skill" and "Cheap this" and that..  I play Iceworld because killing as many possible people in a small, enclosed area is just appealing too me.
