New Spell Idea

Heh, there should be a spell that does no damage, and it's only effect is to shove from a distance.

Idea:
A yellow or red version of Beam that does no damage, but shoves the target farther based on higher O-Casting. Like #cast BeamShove. That'd be cool.  =P

They have some very similar spell in MR-tRPG... you do #cast shove (I think) but it doesn't look like a beam.. it just makes the #cast fireball noise, and shoves them.

Yeah, but that could be abused too much I think.  You dont want people casting shoving n00bs off of bridges...

What's stopping people from just hiding and #shove'ing n00bs off of bridges in the first place? If anything, this would be abused less, since you would see the "You resisted [person]'s spell!" message.

In order for you to cast the shove on someone, they would have to be in a house, or added to target list in order for it to affect them.. just like casting regular magic.  On the other hand [#shove] can be used in towns, and without adding someone.

I think if you want all these new spells then you should play MR-TRPG instead... almost every spell idea brought up, has already been coded in MR.

I just think it would still be a dumb idea used by assholes like Choas.  You run at them to bash, and they simply shove you out of the way and laugh at how dumb you look.
