Do any of you ever seem to incorperate things from tribes rpg into real life?

I constantly find myself chat like this in AIM:
#global hey frank! whats up!

And I do the same in CS too.


One time at the dinner table I said: "talk dad "Hi dad!""

Its wierd isnt it?!

If I can think of anymore, I'll post more, cause I find myself doing this all the time.

RM has a really funny story like mine. Ask him for it, it's too funny for words.

LoL, thought of another one. When I woke up one time in September (i remember this cause it still cracks me up) I was really groggy, and was going to get some breakfast. I said (aloud) "cast transport kitchen".

Still cracks me up. Tribes RPG is controlling my life, cant you tell?

I even have TRPG dreams. Last week I spent my night in mino, chatting with Jonah and Pecker. All I did was sit there autoswinging and chatting with them.

My aim profile once read:  #setinfo (the text i entered i forgot).  I later corrected it when somebody told me about it.

LOL I too have had some trpg dreams. Scares the crap right outta me sometimes lol. But when i'm playing other games like especially regular tribes I try to #shove ppl and I'll type #global or #tell lol. The ones that play trpg laugh at me and others are like huh?? So see your not the only one, it is OK. We really need a forum therapist for us nutsy ppl. lol

Maybe not TRPG, but definately Quake 1 and CS for me.  In IRC, I would always find myself typing "tYeah Joe!" or similar due to the talk key being "t" in Quake 1.  That time has faded, however.  I once had a dream where I was playing CS.  Same BS headshots and kills though!  It was kinda funny, because I dreampt about playing it--not actually being in the map or something.

You know that purple swirling sky that you see in Quake?  Well, usually when I have a nightmare where I fall, it involves a weird, purple swirling sky just like Quake.  No, the sky is not quake-induced since I have been having these dreams since I was 5, but it is weird.


Here's the nightmare that I have at least once a month:  I am walking on a patch of green grass (really, really green) and there is a picket fence.  All around me is the swirling purple sky.  I walk to the edge, and I trip/walk off/ jump off the terrain, plummeting head first into the purple abyss.  Very strange.  

Also when I shut my eyes really, really tight, I see a neon-green ring, sorta like a perfectly shaped plutonium doughnut.

I had a strange dream once.  My nightmares seem to start out in the open near sunset with a red sky, no wind, and perfectly alone.  Just the clouds move.

Darwin, I have seen the green ring before, but when I see it, it is at the outer edge of m sight, then moves towards the center, makes a ball, then disappears. It repeats this cycle for, well, a real long time.

Its great fun when you cant fall asleep.  Mine starts as a ball at the center of my vision, then gets closer and closer till I pass through the center of the ring.  And then it repeats itself.

It kinda reminds me of the beginning of The Matrix, where it passes through that green part.

Cmon, just shut your eyes reaalll tight in the dark, and wait.  A ring should appear (according to me).  I've seen the ring since I was like 5, but I'm not dead yet!  Lucky You!
