Holy malarkey, I just bought DAoC last night, and was playing all yesterday and tonight, IT forkING ROCKS!!!! DUDE!! if yall only knew how fun it is. Yall should play it, its freakin awesome!!!

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

About 9/10 of the people who play it use it as a chatroom... But the rest actually have fun and kill each other in pvp.

Not in the shard/server I play... you can't talk global, and the only time you can really use it as a "chatroom" is when you're in Vesper with all the the other people sitting around talking.

*edit* There's so much you can do, you can Wrestle, Cook, Fish, Steal, Hide, Smith, Lumberjack, Cast, Build your own house, Picklocks, Write books, Alchemy, Carpentry, Herding, Mining, Musicianship, Tailor, Camp, and Track.. those are just a few of the things you can do..

Well, not everybody has the same problem, but I have heard where people love DAoC at the beginning and quickly tire of it.

thats like every game out.. particle.. eventually ull get sick of.. its just a matter of when

my shard... is free... and theres no global... but u can barter.. globaly... but that can easily be switched off.. and usualy its only used for bartering
