Bah.  You win the first two matches, and the game just gets easier and easier.

A CT with a colt + kevlar and nades vs. a T with an MP5 is easy to see who will win, unless of course the T is teh UBER l337

I can show you how any gun can kill anybody...  CS sucks now, it's all completely based on luck.  It used to be skill during the first beta stages, but gradually, they made bullet spreads unrealistic and forced the game to work for newbies by having a huge head hitbox.  All this, and when this current netcode was first put in, made Half-Life suck even more.

I remember the first time I tried out the new netcode with 1.1.0.6 (I think it was hits one) it was on cs_malita.  There was a CT camper with an Arctic Magnum, of course, and I strafe out to see just a bit, and about 1-1.5 seconds later, I get hit... The netcode thought I was still there, and instead of killing me, took me down to 6 health because it shot through the stone wall.  (in front of the house, more specifically, in front of the garage)

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

Yeah, I know.. I hate how when you're already safely around a corner a sniper nabs you with a headshot, it's almost as if you're lagging.

CS sucks.  EOF.

I do NS mostly, some CS at times for fun but never because it's "realistic".  My ass.  Headshots account for a very VERY small amount of kills in real ops, not (as some studies show) 35-55% in CS.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Firearms is a much better mod.  No so much tactical work, but much more realistic.

THey couldn't make a game completely accurate...

If that was the case.. you would go down after being hit by 1 bullet.
