lol. This is the second time i've met someone from the internet. I almost met Corona, but he didn't answer any of my PM's or msg's while I was in Vancouver. Lazy bum. AND I almost met Vorter in Seattle, but the times didn't work out.

Anyway, don't worry about the 11th. My plane takes off from charleroi at forking 6:30 in the morning. I'm not going to be in Brussels for very long; not even 24 hours, so just the quick tour would be nice. Given how short i'll be there, we probably won't do any museums or anything. But if you know of any good Waffle places nearby where we are, we DEFINITELY have to go there. And maybe mussels for dinner. mmmmmmm mussels....

Anyway, since I get into charleroi at 14:45, and I won't have any luggage (just bringing all my malarkey in a backpack), I'll just go right to the train kiosk. I don't know the airport layout at all, and I don't know how far it is from the center of town, or where it will drop us off. I think I read on the website that trains left every 30 minutes or something, but I'll doublecheck it (I'll do it later. I don't feel good right now.)

Also, do you know how early the trains start running? Since my flight leaves at 6:30 in the morning, I will probably have to leave my hostel at about 4:30. Shiiiiiit that sucks. I should just stay up all night.

*edit*
malarkeye man, now I have to decide something. I can either leave Brussels at 6:30 or at 19:35. Treviso airport in Venice will have train service to the center of town, so I'll have transportation. The question is whether I would want to stay in Brussels for another part of a day. If you're not doing anything on Tuesday, we can chill again. The others will probably be gone, so it'd just be you and me. Maybe you can help me pick out some good chocolate and malarkey to send back to my family and friends....and help me look for a guy named Flavien Brebion. He lives in Brussels, and I want to put like a fruit basket or something on his doorstep.

Anyway, i guess it's kind of up to you. Either I spend an extra 10 hours in Brussels, or I fly to Venice and spend an extra 10 hours there alone (until my friends arrive)

yeah no prob...bah I'm almost thinking about dropping labo :p, gues it's fine for once, cuz prob would be
I Have labo from (I rechecked) 14 to 18 (which totally sucks)
If i drop it and have a dokters note it's all fine, I'll just redo the whole thing later on...which is fine.
it's just a shame to see brussels a few hours... and you won't get to see much either as you'll arrive pretty late from charleroi as the airport isnt directly next to the trainstation...

10 hours alone will suck lol...all towns are great but when you're alone it sucks...
this way you'll rly have some fun in brussels...
give me the adress of that guy and I'll already look it up

I don't have his addy =\ Unless you have a phone book for addresses, i'm out of luck. Oh well. I think i've decided to take the later flight. I'll get a map from Google maps and hopefully it'll take me right to my hostel. But I mean, hey, if you're going to be around town on Tuesday, I'll book the later flight. But if you're not, I think I'll take the early flight and risk missing it. I have an alarm clock, but I don't trust it to wake me up.

I mean...I either risk missing my flight if it's too early, or if I take the later flight, I risk getting lost in Venice at night. Which is worse?

:P

Her name is Amber. And I'm in Arnhem now;forking nuts. It was pouring when I got here; the directions to my hostel were incorrect, so I ended up paying 15 euro for a taxi. I can't get ahold of my friend now and I'm paying out the ass for an internet connection. I'm mad.

Lucky me; I leave tomorrow. I'm really not liking it here.

On the other hand, though, Brussels was really nice. Thanks again for the tour, Seba.

Oh by the way, when I got here, the continental dinner was closed. My hostel in Arnhem is in the middle of forking nowhere, so I can't walk anywhere (not that I know WHERE to go anyway), so I'm eating a chocolate bar for dinner. I'm going to be starving when I wake up.

This has been a ridiculously horrible day, but it's nothing you did Seba. I'm just mostly pissed at Amber for making me late and being a general pain in the ass. She still owes me for the hostels we stayed in. fork. Well, this is definitely money wasted. I should have just gone back with her.

LOL sad to hear...

Those 2 days were a pretty good experience for me, pretty special. I really had a lot of fun. I was very tired when I came back home and went straith to bed :p
Amber (yes last day I knew here name) is just really too weird...nice girl but...yeah just too weird . Really weird how she always enjoyed being "alone" and was perfectly fine with it...there was something tricky about it...cuz nobody could rly like that in the end, there must be reasons why she "likes" it. I would need waymore time to find out :p and it kinda troubles me (especially since I rly like helping people) but I guess it can't be helped. Don't let it get into your head too much and relax during your trip dude! You rly can't expect everyone to be ok. I'm sure that Amber is rly great in the end. (Well at least she's 100% fine to me :p, I know girls who are worse than her and like em anyways)

In the end Amber prouved to be a great girl and if I would travel with her I woudnt leave her alone... :p I'm still not convinced she rly likes it.
About you ....you're just too funny ,great guy, rly kind (prob kindest guy I know) , your friends are the lucky ones...
Even so the culture difference was weird...nothing to worry about I guess, but it was weird :p

come back anytime if you're bored and wanna have a good time :p

I hope I was ok, but at least I'm sure you had a good time and some good things to eat.
I hope you liked the chocolate milk and chocolate bars :p

I hope now I have this same type of experience again in the future

Oh i forgot to tell you about the choc. milk: forking delicious.

You were great; great tour guide, and very kind. Thanks for putting up with us, and especially amber :P

I think the cultural differences are great. It gives us both new perspectives on life, and it shows us that not everyone from one country is the same. There are a lot of people out there, and just like you said, everyone is different and has their own thing. I don't think that rule is restricted to one culture, either.

If I ever plan another trip to Brussels, I'll be sure to let you know. I promise you that everyone else who i am going to school with is a LOT more fun.

btw, would it be okay if I posted the picture of the two of us? Just as proof, really.

That just makes you stronger.  We all know Europeans are too weak because they don't live with a challenge everyday of survival :P.
