That was last week here. WE had baseball sized hail, and I watched a tornado cross a busy highway.

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

Well Florida is part of the "tornado alley", although I don't see how... it's so far out there.

Because of the high amount of tornados..

Though.. We don't worry much about tornados down here.. Hurricanes do much worse in this state, because Hurricanes spawn tornados.. Along with flash floods.

The closest I've been to a tornado, or rather the tornado to my neighborhood, was about 5 miles.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I know, it makes me feel so insecure because the house I live in is really old... and small.  Same with lightning.  I bet if lightning struck anywhere around my house, somehow, I would get hit by it because my house is so small.  What reminds me of that is when it was about 4 days ago and we had some midnight thunderstorms just pop up on radar.  All the sudden I start hearing thunder, then the lightning comes about 10 minutes later.  I'm all fine and everything, when I notice I felt a little tingly feeling on the hairs on my leg.  Then it wasn't more than a second later,  KABAAM!! Lightning struck right outside and scared the bejesus out of me.  And believe me, you know when lightning strikes beside you because it makes a weird kinda "fry" electrical sound.  If you ever played Tribes 2 and listened to that sound, it sounds exactly like it, except 10x more creepy in real life.

I live near Arkansas.  Everytime a tornado rips through a trailer park, I feel like I want to slap myself on the forehead and mutter "stupid people"...   Then I have to see some redneck chick with an underbite and a little hair on her face explain what went down.

I got a "nader" story.  I was in Nashville visiting my relatives for the week.  My uncle works in music and stuff, so he lives life to the fullest.  One day a big storm came, and a tornado ripped through Downtown Nashville (thats something you dont hear everyday, a tornado moving through downtown), but it happened.  He and I go outside to watch it.  It looked like it was within a mile of us, and I was so freakin scared, but he started to film it, laughing.  Then a table umbrella did a Mary Poppins on us and flew forward and hit him in the stomach.  *sigh*, he wasnt laughing then.
