Unreal Tournament 2003

Quake III Arena:
-Urban Terror Mod
-True Combat Mod

Half-Life:
-Counter-Strike Mod
-Natural Selection Mod
-FireArms Mod
-Svenn Coop Mod

Halflife is still a lot of fun due to the amount of mods people have created for it.  True Combat and Urban Terror for Quake III Arena are a lot of fun and more realistic than Counter-Strike.  Well, True Combat is anyway.  You can even aim with the iron sights on any weapon, including pistols.  If it has a scope then you can use it, which also includes real-to-life lense effects on the sight.  See it for yourself:

Of course, that screen isn't from the latest version, either.

Same for that shot, but it shows a cool nightvision scope.

And now to reassure you that the models don't suck, here's some screen shots of the revamped beta 1 models (vs beta .45 like I used to play):

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Morrowind is a great rpg game for pc.. its first person like trpg but the  graphics are amazing (especialley the water). THe gameplay is almost completely non-linear, and even though theres a main quest to be completed, there are many side quests. In the original there are 3 Great Houses you can join, as well as many smaller guilds, and you can even become a vampire and join their houses. I think the expansions introduce werewolfs and stuff :)

Those screens have been "gussied up", but indeed the graphics are fantastic.  The fighting is extremely lackluster though.  I mean, i prefer the fighting in TRPG to it.  Thats kinda sad.

One game that is really fun and doesnt require a heavy system is Dope Wars.  Try it.  Its fun.

Cant wait for those leaked screens of Half Life 2 after E3.

Morrowind is an excellent game.  Those are in-game graphics, they are't "gussied" up!  That's what my graphics look like, at least..

Those are in-game graphics... probaby cropped so the gui doesn't show up. You can switch to a 3rd person view in game and rotate the view all around your player  :)

This screenshot is ingame from first person view...

I own the game, both PC and Xbox.  Even with pixel shading all the way up and the veiw distance all the way up and resolution at 1024x768, in no way are the visuals that good.  Those screens there are from the games own website for God's sake.  (*edit* did not see the above pic)

The water does look cool, but it's movement can be way to static if you are critical.  You look at it, and it just seems like a see-through picture of shaded ripples changing twice a second.

I stopped playing the game until I can get a better computer :p I got to the part in the mian quest where you have to travel all the way north to a camp in a desert. The sandstorms drop my fps to unplayable levels  :x

I got a story, which makes this an awesome game.  I recently installed Suse linux, and it came with descent.  My dad came in and watched it.  5 minutes into the game he became nausiated and threw up.
