Where is Slorge Gridlock?

Does anyone know where he is or if something happened?  His YouTube and Flickr accounts have been closed (which is the most surprising and worrying part), I haven't seen him in months, etc.  Does anyone have any information?

Now that you bring it up, his absence is kind of worrying. I can't say I noticed it myself, but I'm extremely imperceptive to those sorts of things anyway...

About the only thing left of him that I've found are a portion of his videos on Dailymotion.  I was searching youtube and other people have commented as long as three months ago that something is weird.  No conclusions yet.

I emailed his established email address (yahoo) on 1/22 and haven't received anything back either.  Considering that this is a technical guy who has been well-established on the public side of the net since the early 2000s this is very odd.

I was thinking the same thing. Very odd indeed. Can you determine the last time he'd logged on to these forums? The most recent activity from him that I can uncover was from at least 10 months ago, when he posted "How to fake a monster video" on one of his numerous video website accounts.

I checked into his old band, "8 Mile Bend" (I think that was his band, at least...)
Their YouTube profile was last touched 7 hours ago. I also came across this...

I could swear I saw Slorge on the server not too long ago, but I don't know for sure.

So how come that affected his Flickr account as well? And nearly every trail that leads to him winds up nowhere? Damn peculiar if you ask me...

If someone was pissed at him, it might not be too difficult to go after his Flikr account too, but I agree that this whole thing is strange.  I'd expect him to have either fought it by now or somehow get a word out to us.  Maybe he just decided to hell with it all.

It looks like he's a-ok but decided to disengage from the online world.  It is truly sad since he always had such great content to share and was a joy to have around.  I'm just glad to be sure he is alright in the real world.  I can live with him going offline if that's what makes him happy.  :)

It feels good to have solved this mystery.  It makes me wonder:  If I disappeared would the people I left behind care enough to start an investigation like we did for Slorge?  Probably not.  I should try to be more like him.  He's obviously changing people's lives for the better.
