If I understand your question correctly (that is, if you meant "Is it an MMO where something more happens besides "grind, wash, rinse, repeat"), then I can't say that I know what exactly it's going to be like in the game simply because it hasn't come out yet, and the gameplay aspect can't be worked on until the game's engine itself is complete (which at it's current state, seems like it's almost there. If you're interested, there are dozens of pages of technical journals written by the lead developer about his engine, how he's developing it, and tons of other computer jargon that I don't understand, but you might
)
Anyway, to continue hijacking this thread, I can say that the fact that the community has a significant influence in the way the game will be developed, I can speculate that, yes, it will probably be an MMO where
something actually happens. Be it story-driven or players/faction driven, there will be plenty for any one player to do. I'd like to spend more time talking about what is being developed to help facilitate this process (for example, an economy prototype to lay the foundation for an ACTUAL economy where prices change, supply and demand are taken into effect, etc), but I don't want to ramble....or continue hijacking this thread. lol
Also, regarding Gnight's concern, he may be referring to the lack of any administrative figures in the server currently. Although, that's only a relatively recent issue, in which case I have no idea what the problem was in the past.
