t1vistafix help

so i have a copy of tribes from my old windows 7 computer that im trying to run off of a flash drive on another windows seven computer with the t1vista fix...  yet it doesnt run...  acts as though there is no t1vistafix on there anyone got any ideas

you gotta replace tribes.exe with the vistafix.exe (just rename it to tribes.exe)
if it doesn't work, it's the computer. It doesn't work on all computers.

how about install Tribes 1.40? (graphic patch for Vista & Win7)

T 1.40 is very hard to make compatible with an RPG mod though

*edit* just saw that master responded to an older post, but if you still have problems here
Anyways shorty, like bungle said rename it to tribes.exe or you create the shortcut from the t1vista.exe.  If all else fails might I suggest

It will make it compatible even when using the original tribes.exe

A nice version of tribes was put together by plasmatic which I'm using on my new PC now.

Includes win7/vista fix + a fix for using a widescreen monitor in any resolution.
