He didn't eat dry ice.. the milk was cooled in dry ice... That doesn't mean pouring the milk in a glass with dry ice in it.

Yeah, now that would be stupid.

After a chemistry experiment with the juniors, the teacher dumped the ice and dry ice out onto the parking lot.  After school, we were throwing the ice at each other, and it was kinda hard to distinguish between the dry ice and regular ice.  One peice of ice hit a freshman in the back of the head and went down his shirt, giving him frostbite  :?

I was reading on the uses of dried ice and one use was putting a block of it in a fruit bowl to keep it cool.

Dry ice is fun to play with. I used to dump it in a sink and turn on the hot water. So much carbon dioxide... Fun fun.

Sure it is ..

Untill you inhale it. Then your lungs freeze, causing you to go into a seizure which would probably make your heart stop. And on top of that.. The chemicals would fry your brain.

Of course I left out a couple steps.

UG, dry ice is just frozen carbon dioxide.  There's no "chemicals" like you're talking of.  Just a single element.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

My brain can't be fried. and if it is, I won't know it because I lost it years ago in a boating accident.

Actually, I did stick my head in the sink while it was all "steam"-ed up. I breathed, too. Obviously, if the carbon dioxide (not noxious chemicals that you keep talking about) is in it's gaseous state, it's warm enough to be able to enter your lungs with frostbiting anything it touches.

As long as the temperature is within a certain limit, which would probably be -100 F to 150 F, you could probably inhale it safely.  Just make sure you get enough oxygen molecules or you will probably pass out. Heh...
