Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Have you ever seen a picture of my computer?  I have a desk but it almost looks like it sits on a mounds of CDs.  heh

Kinda funny, I look to my left and there's two spindles of CD's (100's).  I look forward and I see a stack of CD's next to a glass of water (30-50).  I look down and see a few cases.  I look to my right about 45 degrees and see an 8" stack of cases along with 5 stacks of CDs (~200).  I look further to my right and see another spindle and two more stacks of CD's (~150).  I look further away and see a CD tower (25).  I look behind me on the floor and see about another 25 CD's in thin cases across the floor.  I look behind me on the shelves and notice 20-40 more.  Behind my desk there's another 50 CDs that have just fallen over time.

Total estimate: 740CD's.  Many unlabeled.

That's how CD's get lost.

Well I don't like it when I can't copy a game bit for bit.  In that sense I mean a perfect copy.  I've lost some games that I've purchased due to scratches and cracks, and that just downright sucks.  For instance, I bought Sims: Livin Large.  Well I go to install Sims and then Livin Large, but no, the cd is cracked in half because I let an irresponsible friend barrow it. I mean come on, I should now have the opportunity to have a complete copy, because now I have no original copy, but I have purchased the EULA for 20$.  I've also bought Tribes 2, but the cd is so scratched that I can no longer install it when I format.  Luckily though, using ahead nero, you can make a backup copy of T2.

So the big point I'm trying to make is, they should have some sort of system that allows you to back up your cd's only 1 time, after that, you have to pay for another copy to be made, pending on sending them your cd as proof.
