I found out what my problem was with loding a server,, but had to change a few thins,,,  i use linksys for home network suks but thats what i have,, anyway, i had to change 192.168.1.1 to 10.10.10.1  i can connect to internet now,, but i am having probs with tribes ,, says internet connection not found so i changed my server port setting fom 28001 to 1

and i only get like 3 sever out of every server that is being hosted anyone have a suggestion.

Use 1.1.1.254 for router and 1.1.1.1 for your computer.  Use 255.255.255.0 for your subnet as well.  These may help speed wise in windows networking.

Also, never ever use DHCP.  It's utter malarkey and is newbie as hell.

(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).
