why cant i log onto this char i bought?

hey, i just bought a char from someone (using coins... not real money lol), and it says that "this name is already being used by someone on this server, or you have an incorrect password", but he says its the right one, but is there a reason i still cant log on? some new security thing i dont know about that was installed? thanks

I swear to you man that is the pw that i have used for years... hell its the pw for my forum name you can try ouy on this its just what ived used becuase it said it on my keyboard so i could always remeber it.

I sold my lvl 2 druid cuz I didnt like the Druid class.. I have an rl 1 mage but i forgot my pw... its name is -Xaiir so when i get it back -Xaiir is your noob not Xaiir
