Want to destroy it?

Plug it into a 220 wall outlet.

Tell him, it was so old, that it just decided to blow up.

Just take the heatsink off the CPU and it will die fairly quick.

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

I could but if something happens while he's not here he will most defiantly blame it on me. I need something that can happen slow but natural. That heat sink thing might now be a bad idea.

Ok, then take off the heatsink, and take all the thermal grease/thermal padding off and put it back on.  It will run really hot and eventually will die.

That won't die without a thermal pad.  You should undervolt the fan to like .75-1.5v.  I'd give it a month.

You could phonebook your hard drive.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

My cousin wanted a new computer, so I replaced his 128mb memory down to 32.  His mom couldnt figure out why her comp was running so damn slow, and they eventually got a new one.

I was thinking about unplugging the power from the heatsink on my dad's PII to make him get a new computer, but then I remembered he's broke

I want to destroy my machine to make my Dad go bye a new one but it might not work.

But what if he decides not to get a new one, and you are completely computerless?

Yeah, or what if he is a cheap bastard and just tries to get it repaired, and the repairman tells him the heatsink was disconnected?

I like the memory plan. If he finds that the computer runs too slow he'll most likely ask me how to upgrade. I would tell him we need another motherboard but then I would say that the upgrade motherboards aren't compatible and they still make you put it in yourself. But then he'll act like he knows stuff can we just add more memory and processor (add more processor he would really say). I'll say we could but the difference will be slightly. Then he'll get fustruated and start telling me to look for a cheap deal. Dell being the lowest these days we could get and the lowest model is 3 times as fast as the current one. I think that could work.

I really like the replacement motherboard idea.

Hmmm, have you tried to deliberately download a virus?  Try the parite virus.  That one is nasty!

I heard that computer hygeine is 70% of the cause of computer problems pertaining to hardware.

Gosh, there are several ways you can sabatage your computer.  Hmmm.....   Remember, newegg.com has some pretty good prices.

I've always tried to download a virus but I can't find one good enough. I want to get a virus that doesn't let you do anything on the computer but let's you know it's a virus. Plus I don't know where to get viruses from anyone. Is there a website or something?
