Awwwesome.. One thing though, we're really gonna need some new dungeons and towns. >_<

I could help map if you need me to, I have some pretty cool dungeon ideas I think players might like.

oh, i did finish it, its just not the most stable thing i have ever created, so i never really told anyone.  TRPG has too much to worry about in weapons and various variables, whereas in my MD mod i am using it in, there is very little to worry about, no atk, def, mdef, .....

the system is finished, just highly unstable when 10 or more people are using it.  its fine for about 5-8 people, but the mass variables take their toll even then...

and besides, whats the point in me giving out the item system?  i give it to particle, particle puts it in the server, server gets completely cleared, and i never come back because i have better things to do that try to get back to where i am, i really get a lot of use from it...

The point is to do things for others.  Not everybody feels that way though, and that's their right.

Anyway, I'm in a real pinch for weapons and junk then.  Staying at the same level with the same few weapons might tend to get a little boring.

Well I for one want you to stay and help with the server.  I agree with your thoughts on what needs to be done with the server.  I can not speak for them, but I may be able to speak on Darwin and Pecker's behalf when I said that.

And when I said forum regulars, I meant clicking on Memberlist and arrange by Top Ten posters.

it's the gods that won't come back, because they won't have their oversized characters and can't pick on lowbies...

the gods that I associate with don't go around bashing everyone they seen... and besides, there are more non gods that go around doing that...

and the reason that most gods would leave and that most non gods vote to clear... is simple, the non-gods want to get ahead of the gods... the gods don't want their characters to be cleared, well because they spent hours, hundred of hours to get to their point... and I think as several people said already in this post.... that a rpg is to build ones character and such and such... well they've and I have spent days building our characters... yeah, I do think it would be good to clear for the whole rpg community, but what I said before was like reduce everything to 1/10 of their character, it gives the ones who spent years compensation for what they've done

You know, I might come back after a clear.  It would be interesting seeing all the cleared chars rush for kills in the gobs den.  In fact, I bet it would be every man for himself, and PKing for exp would be rampant in the first hour  


I just want a variation in gameplay, where I dont sit in one spot with autoswing on, playing a gameboy game while I wait for my character to reach level 50.

When Particle clears the chars, he needs to have the bots use higher level bludge and pierce weapons.

I'm tired of picking up claymores and battleaxes.

Hey i dont think its that fair cause of 20 people voting, why dont you get on the server and ask the other more than half the population

razore you newb alot more people come to the forums than people who play onthe server....most of the gods dont play anymore they just come to the forums and THIS is really affecting them.

Ok.. This is the part where I go all out and thow in my two cents..

In my opinion, if the players leave if they get cleared. It only shows that they are only on the server to fight people lower than them. Which is pritty much ALL the gods.

Here are my facts that prove it.. This thread being #1.. Just about everyone that posted that they wouldn't play anymore if the server is cleared, only come on to play on their overpowered characters, and use them to torment other people.

In reality.. It will be doing more good than harm.. We might actually be free from the problems that are around for a while.

If you are a true TRPG player, you wouldn't mind a clear at all if you knew it was for the good of the server, and that you would have more to do after the clear.

I honestly just wouldn't know how to make it autodownload without requiring an initial download for the client-side portion of the auto-downloader.

The formula I came up with is this:
200+([n-1]*100)

And then I realized I was stupid because there was an obvious one that requires less processing:
100+(n*100)

No loops on this one boys and girls.  This shouldn't lag at all.
Level 1 = 200exp
Level 5 = 600exp
Level 10 = 1100exp
Level 25 = 2600exp
Level 50 = 5100exp
Level 75 = 7600exp
Level 100 = 10100exp

Pretty simple and it'll be a good curve.  Talk about cutting down on remorts.  Too bad eViL never finished that item system... I could REALLY use that about now since more weapons and armor would help.  There'll need to be more items for lower levels without sacrificing the items for higher levels.

How about making a zone for the gods to keep them out of the way. And see how that works and if it dont then see about the clear characters.
I know i would be pissed if i spent over a year on a character to get it to a god. and then to get it cleared. I vote for a new zone for the gods
