I never have really really scary dreams, just dreams that are extremely weird.

I have had this kind of dream since I was 6 years old.

I am in a world which has a weird purple sky, like you see in the game Quake.  In that, already, it is pretty weird.  I am on a cliff with brown mud and perfectly green grass.

In this dream, when I was young, was a coffin.  I walk over to the coffin and see yogi bear in it, dead as a doornail.  His spirit rises out of the coffin in whisps of smoke, and I fall off the cliff.
I only had this particular dream once, but many like it have followed.

I have this dream all the time.  I am standing in that very world with the evil purple sky, on that cliff, and I trip over a small picket fence and fall into the abyss, which is where I wake up in a cold sweat.

I've had dreams where I felt like I was flying, like I would put my arms out and I would fly around.

Those are neat.  The flying dreams are my favorite, because it actually feels real.  It's that feeling I get when falling from heights in realistic games or when you're going downhill at 80MPH.  You know the one--with your stomach feeling like it rises.

If I had more time, I'd outline some of my spookier dreams.  What the heck, you know?

=======
Dream #1
=======
I'm in the country (no trees around) and riding my bike on this dirt road with a dark sky overhead, the sun setting to the right, but not like a normal sunset.  The sun is large and yellow but not very bright.  There aren't any bright rays or anything, the sky is just a dark shade of blue, darkening from the sun to the other side.  It's one of those summer days that sets in a warm chill, like when the ground is still 70-80 but the air is more like 60.  You can feel the heat radiating from the ground but the chill breeze doesn't let you forget it's a bad dream.  The breeze is slow but makes itself known.  The dirt road goes to a T, with a stop sign at the corner.  There's crude dark wooden fences along the roads and grass that's a dark vivid green.  It's all about 5 inches but none of it looks cut.  It just sways along with the breeze.  All of a sudden it gets darker, as if 30 minutes of sunset just passed instantly and I decide I need to get home.  I turn the corner and I'm riding on the path in line with the setting sun and all of a sudden I find I'm riding past a house and then down a hall.  It turns out to be the laundry room and I look to the left where my mom was folding clothes and she looks up and whispers "Prepare for the nightmare..." at which point I realize I'm dreaming and decide I don't like it so I wake myself up rather quickly.  It turned from a normal dream (before my story) and started going sour toward nightmare like a barometer from Fair to Stormy.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

This wasnt really a nightmare, just kinda coincidence, or something...  I jump into a lake, and I am swimming around, and I dive under to reach the bottom, upon my ascent, I am running out of breath.  Suddenly, the top of the lake turns hard, and I canot break through.  I am bashing my head against the top to break free.  I am runing out of air, and I can barely breath.  I am drowning, and I cant get any air.

I snap back awake, with my head between the matress and the headboard, with my face buried in the pillow, smothering me.

Dreams ar elike that Darwin.. Your brain never sleeps.

What happens to you while you are sleeping will reflect in your dreams.. If you get hurt outside, you could be getting shot in a dream..

Dreams are just one of the things that really shows how powerful our brains really are..

It would be amazing to be able to use our brains at their full potential.

Yeah, um sorry about that.

You know that's weird because it was the only night I left my ceiling fan on high, and that was the night that I felt like I was flying.

My brain is quite good at blending real life into dreams...  :?

I remember one time, I was having a dream where I was in some type of building, looking around. All of a sudden, a flame spontaneously sprung from the wall, and the fire alarm came on. Except the alarm fired in regular pulses, not a continous ringing. When I woke up, I discovered that my alarm clock was beeping.

Weird...

What does this mean?

  It means that you're floating, adrift, and at sea.
