NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
« on: February 16, 2003 06:23 am CST »
FUC|<!  TOOK ME 10 FUC|<ing SECONDS TO FUC|< UP MY DISPLAY!  FUU|<

DAMN POWERLINE OVERCLOCKING SOFTWARE!  I only boosted it 10 mhz!  Just that!  Now I got little lines running up and down my screen!

Tell me if you think I should do this.  Should I lie to Dell and tell them that the comp just started screwing up?  Well, there are a few things wrong with the machine:

A) Video messed up (of course)
B) Ethernet stopped working for some reason
C) A small peice broken off DVD rom, dvd rom can be pulled out without unlocking it.

What do you think?  Think I can bullmalarkey me a new one?  These damn lines are driving me crazy!

And you know what else?  My old comp does the same thing!  After I installed a new card in it, we had a power failure, and it relied on this old battery backup for 15 min, and I forgot to turn it off.  Now I got lines running up and down it too!  FUC|<!

You should at least be honest.  If you killed something by overclocking it then it's entirely your fault.  Therefore you should take the initiative to take the fall for your own mistake.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

What crap are you talking about?

Also, I think the fact that the screen came with a scratch already on it is reason enough to get a trade-in.  It's still under warranty.

*edit*
I am thankful that CS doesnt look at messed up at TRPG does.  The only little lines I see are in the buy menu, and I only see little splotches on the maps every so often.  Hmm, on the de_rats map it kinda looked like baby food lol.

YES!  I get to ship it in and get the unit repaired/replaced!  Awesome.

Something really funny while I was on tech support with the lady.  When she had given me all the information I needed, and the session was over, I accidentally told her "I love you, bye!"   ROFLMAO!

I've accidentally called my female teachers at school "mom" before.  Man, those are embarrasing experiences.

*edit*

What the hell?  IM NOT GETTING ANY MORE STUPID LINES RUNNING ON MY SCREEN!  LIFE IS BEUTIFUL!

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but if I broke something because I did something I knew I shouldn't have, I think I would swollow my mistake and buy a new one instead of forcing the company to pay for my messing up doing a dangerous act.

I agree. if you messed up, its your responsibility to own up to it. anything else would be dishonest. but hey, who am i to try to force my morality on you? make your own decision.
