haha

On a good note, ParaDoX decided to change his server's name after my postings today.  He's a really reasonable guy--I respect that.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

So appearently Particle created my code. I didn't know that. I really wish I had known that PCRPG had Poison, Charge, the different rl system, class specific abilities, a dueling arena, 7 other zones, another server connected by a teleport among many other things. Gee I guess I just missed it. I'll come by to check it out sometime.

No, PCRPG doesn't have all of those things.  I listed the things that you copied.  I said you stole all of my content, not that all of your content was stolen (just the stuff that is mine).

The fact remains that nearly everything I do have, you have imitations of. So just because you didn't copy what doesn't exist (but did copy everything that does), that doesn't mean you are in the right. Way to show responsibility. Try again.

As for borrowing my rules, that isn't right even if only temporary.  You should have either waited until you made your own or asked me.

I do care about my server.  I care about my work.  That's why it pisses me off when I am copied.  That's not inappropriate in the least.  What you have done on the other hand, is.

Change the stuff you've ripped off and I won't have a problem.  As I said, I encourage server owners to have their piece of the TRPG pie.  I do not encourage intellectual thievery.  That’s all this is about, nothing more.

Can you believe this?  They rip me off and have the balls to pretend that I'm in the wrong for calling them out on it.  This is absurd.

Particle you doubleposter :P
But still, despite all this copying stuff, it seems like you maintain the most popular server of TRPG, and I highly doubt that it's going to change. Who knows? After seeing/hearing all the changes in the other servers, players might come here to see where all that cool stuff came from.

Let's not get too angry here. Remember, whatever else they may have stolen notwithstanding, they also stole bomber nut.

I suppose that is one redeeming factor.

I just hate being ripped off and then being unsavory womaned at like I am the one in the wrong.

It is like if a generic drug company manufacturing knock-off Viagra complained that Pfizer made the real deal.

I'd love to see another guy in the business of providing people a place to play (and thanks for at least not copying my server's name like a lot of people do), but please, come up with and execute your own ideas.

My own idea's.....It appears that I have done that. That was my point. When I started modding the server the 2 out of the 21 zones on the server were already there. I have been planning to change them since day one and they will be gone soon. The zones I have now are used more and the other two are quickly becoming a waste of space.  I wouldn't worry though the Centuria name and building and the ghettozone will be gone quite soon. Our server is in no way like your's and the few similarities are not what make people play it.

I would just like to reiterate that my concern is not competition.  It's only the copied content.  I'm quite glad to learn you intend to change these things soon.
