I think this summarizes everything I have to say about every CS server today and why they all suck better than I can with stories.

I play CS on the Xbox.  But I just got an Xbox 360 and it won't work on the 360. :(

I completely agree here.  I think it is rediculous waiting even longer to join a server as 50 sounds download to your computer.  I dont understand how admins and server owners think these annoyances improve gameplay in any way.

I was even playing a zombie mod server today with so many homo addons that I wanted to shoot myself in the face instead of the zombies.  They had a mod that makes you seem like you have a broken leg.  I can roll up hill on a square-tire-mobile faster than it lets you move with a sniper rifle.  Handguns equipped, you can move about as fast as a child taking its first steps.  The knife allowed for speeds approaching 2/3 of normal "gun speed" in CS.  Here's a hint:  if you want to make the zombies seem faster, MAKE THEM MOVE FASTER instead of making the players move so slow they fall asleep on their keyboard.

Another server had a simple MOTD outlawing essentially all aspects of FPS games.  No swearing, no sniping, no camping, and no objectional sprays.  I thought that'd be fine, but it turns out the server had another gay plugin that disabled every weapon with a scope.  They didn't just block the AWP or autosnipes or scout.  They blocked the AUG and 552 as well.  What the hell am I supposed to use?  A piece of malarkey AK?  A one-mile-per-year Galil?  I always use the 552...which meant I was going to have problems.  Sure enough, I couldn't hit malarkey with the AK I tried.  It's just not a weapon I ever use seriously.  Fire two shots in a row and the recoil sends your second shot 35 degrees off your original reticle's position.  Worthless!  Well, that is unless you want to fire one shot per minute while the recoil timer resets itself.

A common annoyance is when people claim the autosnipes are lame but defend their use of the AWP.  Is it just me, or is it nuts to claim that a weapon requiring 2+ hits to kill or a carefully placed shot to the head (or more commonly these days, an unintentional luck shot to the five-foot-in-diameter head hitbox) requires less skill than a weapon that'll kill in one hit anywhere (with rare exceptions)?

It reminds me of when people complained about the ballistic shield.  Idiots.

I used to roll with the MP5 and Deagle in 1.4  and 1.5

1.6 ruined the game..
Source made it even sillier... but also made the SAW a lot more fun to run with..
